Marketing Your Video – 5 Minutes of Quality

Posted by henrischauffler on August 31, 2017

When it comes to that all important website traffic, it’s important to use whatever tools you can online, and it gets easier all the time. With more and more tools available, and some of the older tools simply aren’t working as well, you can get more qualified traffic for less money. Using videos to drive traffic is definitely a growing trend, but to get the most out of the process you may need help marketing your video.

Of course, pretty much everyone has heard of YouTube and this is a great place to start. You can even get your own YouTube channel and have others follow you. This is a great way to establish yourself as a leader and someone that other’s would benefit from following.

Of course YouTube isn’t the only show in town, there are hundreds of online video directories where you can upload your videos. To make sure that your videos will actually accomplish for you what you want them to, make sure you take the time to make a quality video. Don’t try and throw something together in a few minutes.

A quality video doesn’t have to be professionally done. As a matter of fact a more personal approach usually works best. Having said that though, there are some things your video must have.

For one thing, it has to have decent video. If people can’t see what you’re doing or the video keeps breaking up, they’ll stop watching and any advantage you may have had will be gone.

Secondly, the audio must be clear. Again, if the viewer can’t hear or understand what is being said they will just click away. It’s not just about the quality of the microphone either, it’s also about what you’re saying and how you’re saying it. Are you stuttering and stammering throughout the whole video?

If so that’s a real turnoff. It’s much better to redo sections of the video instead of sounding nervous or like you don’t know what you’re talking about. After all, the whole point here is to personalize the experience for the viewer and let them get to know you, if they don’t like you it’s not going to do much good, is it?

Don’t make your video too long. Most online videos should be only an introduction and that means just a few minutes long. Usually around 5 minutes maximum is good. This isn’t the place to teach them all your knowledge, in most cases they’ll have to pay for that. This is the place you want to prove to them that you can help them. How? Simple, help them. Give them a short solution to some problem they are facing.

OK, so the video is decent quality: the audio, video and narration are clear, easy to follow and on target. Now what?

Well, now you need to use keywords to optimize your search engine rankings for your video. When you submit your video to video directories you will need to fill out a short from. That form will consist of title, description and tags. This is where you’ll put the keywords that you’ve gathered for this niche. That way your video will get a top ranking for one or more of those keywords which means people will be able to find it when they do a search which is what marketing your video is all about.

Marketing Video Production – Tips For Getting It Right

Posted by henrischauffler on August 30, 2017

When it comes to using marketing video production, quality has to be good, but don’t think that means you have to hire actors and pay thousands of dollars. As a matter of fact one of the great advantages of using video to promote your online business is that it allows your prospective customers to get to know you, it takes away a lot of the anonymity of the internet, that’s why it should be all you in front of the camera.

Of course, just because you aren’t paying thousands of dollars for a professionally produced marketing video, doesn’t mean it has to look like it was made by a third grader. You should always strive for quality video and audio as well as a smooth flowing script.

I can’t tell you how annoying it is to try and watch a video online, a tutorial style video where someone is trying to explain how to do something, and have to listen to someone who can’t run two coherent sentences together. What a waste of my time!

So, the first thing you should do is to decide the exact topic of your video. Remember, you won’t have a lot of time, most videos will only be between 3-5 minutes long. So make sure the video is very specific.

Next, write up an outline (an outline is probably better than an actual script since you want to still sound natural and honest instead of faked and rehearsed). If you are illustrating how to do something online and you will be loading other websites, or going to Google, etc, pause the recording while you are waiting for search results to load. I know you are trying to explain things in real time but no one wants to sit around and wait for your screens to load.

Also, make sure that you don’t give away the ‘whole farm’. While you want to provide people with valuable and helpful information, ultimately you want them to buy your product or service so you can’t tell them everything. Just give them little tidbits of information.

Once you’ve got a great video made (great from the standpoint that the video and audio are clean and that the narration is easy to follow and on target) you will want to submit that video to video directories. When you submit the video make sure that you include relevant keywords in the title, tags and description. That way your video will get picked up by the search engines and will send a lot of free targeted traffic to your website.

Using video for online marketing is the way of the future. It’s easy, inexpensive and very effective if you do it right. It takes away a lot of the impersonal aspects of doing business online, people can see you and listen to you so it makes it easier for them to form a connection with you. Make sure that your marketing video production levels are good. No one expects a commercial grade video and that would probably just turn people off anyway, just make it something worth sitting through.

For Successful Marketing: Understand Your Target Market

Posted by henrischauffler on August 29, 2017

Before you can do any good advertising your product and service or undergo any decent marketing
campaign you have to know your target market. In the world of internet marketing you need to be
able to know as precisely as possible all the information you can gather so you can custom tailor
your marketing mix to be more effective.

You will need to know about their demographics. On any online marketing campaign you need to
know who it is that you are reaching out to. What does your ideal customer look like? How old are
they? What income bracket are they in? Where do they work? Where do they socialize? What are
their buying habits? The marketing strategies that you incorporate are going to use all this
information. Fortunately it doesn’t take much to find out much of this. If you are targeting a certain
geographic area, use the internet to find out as much demographic information as possible. In the US
use the chamber of commerce for that area.

For your market targeting you will also need to know about their geographic location. What is the
culture there like. Get familiar with ti and find out what things are typical for that region. Make sure
you find out not only what marketing strategies are popular but find out also what things are taboo.
What may seem harmless to one region may be a death sentence to your marketing strategy if your
marketing research doesn’t find this information out.

You also need to see what other factors might affect the buying decision and behavior of your target
market. What styles are in fashion for your target markets? What type of climate is it? Are they free
with their money? It may seem like a lot of work but if you want your marketing plan to work, all of
this research is going to pay off.

The most important part of your marketing research will be understanding your customers needs.
The more you understand this, the better able you will be to create an ad campaign. This will help
bring about some effective branding of your product and services as a viable part of their buying

The best way to find out about your target market, though, is to spend time where they are. If your
hope is to have a coffee shop, you are going to want to see first hand what works and doesn’t work
You will want to know what the atmosphere is like in a successful coffee shop and spend time
talking to customers to find out what they like and don’t like about it. The same thing is going to be
important for any online marketing plan.

Wherever it is that your potential customers go to find out more about what you are trying to offer
them, go and spend time there. If there is a forum that is used by those who typically are interested in
your product or service, be a member of it or spend time reading what is going on. Get in the shoes
of your target market and find out what it is like to be them. The more you can understand them, the
more effective you will be a marketing to your target market.

Marketing Online Success

Posted by henrischauffler on August 28, 2017

In order to achieve the highest level of marketing online success, you need a few basics. These “tools” will make it possible for you to make money and build a real business online. It isn’t a high cost, but it will take some time to find all the tools you need and to learn the skills.

I sometimes fear that I sound like a broken record, but I truly do hate to see people work hard only to fail because they simply don’t know what to do or are being misled by others who are only trying to make money.

So in order to ensure your own marketing online success, please heed the tips I’m about to give you. I have been doing this for many years and I know what I’m talking about. Most of this information I learned the hard way – by making the very mistakes I’m trying to get you to avoid.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Get an education. It doesn’t have to be at your local college, there are many training resources available right online for minimal cost. Also, since these online courses can be accessed any time of the day or night, it is easier for working adults to find the time to complete them. You don’t have to accommodate someone else’s schedule.

Many of these courses can be completed in just a few weeks, and you may be able to actually start making some money while you are going through the course.

Whatever options you choose just make sure you get educated on how the various parts of marketing online fit together.

2. Check your delusion at the door. Hype seems to be rampant online and if you really want to have any success, you must get, and keep, your expectations in line. If you believe the hype, you will waste a lot of time and money chasing some new “sure thing” after another.

To be honest, that is exactly what I did. I was so convinced that my success would happen virtually overnight that when it didn’t I thought I was just doing the wrong thing. It never occurred to me, in the early days at least, that it wasn’t what I was doing that was the problem it was my unrealistic expectations that was causing me so much trouble.

Once I accepted that building a business online would require time and attention from me and I started investing those things in my business I started having success.

3. Be consistent in your time. Even if you can only put a few hours a week to working on your business, you can make it work just as long as you invest that few hours a week every single week.

Of course, the more time you can put into building your business the sooner you may be able to start earning consistent money, but even with small amounts of time you can still build a business as long as you do it on a consistent basis.

Marketing online success hinges on these things. Follow them and you will greatly increase your odds of success.

What is Manual Link Building and Who Uses It?

Posted by henrischauffler on August 27, 2017

Manual Link Building is a the method of gaining incoming links by going to a search engine (search engines) and requesting various sites to link to yours.

Many people believe that the best way to get links is to hire a service that does all of the grunt work for you. After all, building links is patience-testing and tedious. But others believe that there is still a place for manual link building in the small business world.

Manual link-building is becoming less and less frequently used in business but it remains to be one of the the most inexpensive and effective ways for small businesses to rank well in the search engines. And it works especially well for local-specific businesses.

Most would agree that it wouldn’t be the smartest move for small shops and local businesses to spend months (or years) publishing articles and participating in social networking until they start to get enough of their content linked to in order to improve their search engine rankings. Even if they do offer great content, this does not mean they will be linked to. This is especially true for the types of businesses who don’t really need to do business over the Internet. They still need to be found on the Internet, however.

If you run a small business or you are doing sEO for a small business, keep in mind that it is okay to find some local directories and manually request some links. Of course, those few top paid directories like Yahoo, BOTW, and, are the ones that Google especially admires so it can’t hurt to request help from them as well. You can especially win out if you don’t have much competition. Just a well-optimized website and a few quality incoming links could easily get you on the first page of any of the major search engines.

Another reason you might want to go with manual directory submission (even if you aren’t a small, local business) is because the most respected and reputable directories have their own custom application script which means you must submit to them manually. Automated tools simply cannot fill in those unique forms. So directory submission services that use automatic tools to submit usually end up submitting to lower quality directories that won’t really do anything to improve the ranking of your site. While automatic submission tools can fill in the forms on certain submit pages, they don’t always fill in the date properly so the submission may be incomplete. But it’s not uncommon in a situation like this that the report you receive says your submission went through when in reality it didn’t. If the category is not identified correctly, a service will fail to submit as well. These are just a few reasons you want to steer clear of submission services that use automated tools.

You can, however, opt for submission services that do the manual link building for you, without using automatic tools.

Making Mobile Marketing Work For Your Business

Posted by henrischauffler on August 26, 2017

If you have ever wanted to obtain more information about mobile marketing, then you need to stop what you are doing and read this article. Here, you will be provided with expert advice, written in a professional manner, which will more than provide you with a sufficient background on the subject.

Make sure that your business has a presence on social media websites, and includes links to them on your business website. Social media have their own mobile versions of their websites in addition to mobile apps that have a relationship with them. This is another way for your business to connect with consumers easily.

Shorten a lengthy or complicated URL, by using a QR image generation shortener. This will keep the code design basic, and it will be easy to scan. URL shorteners are simple to learn how to use and they will allow you to shorten any URL, in just a few, short steps.

One of the key factors to successful mobile marketing advertising and messaging is to keep your messages and ads short, to the point, and urgent. The devices are possibly smaller, so you have less room to work with in composing your ad. So make them short and clear so that you can get your message across quickly and fully understood.

Keep your material clean in order to keep your brand clean. Sending out raw, unfiltered material, even if you think it’s worthy of attention, can be detrimental to your mobile marketing efforts. Things don’t have to be outlandish to draw attention. They just have to be worthy of someone’s time.

Make your messages concise. This isn’t the time to worry about perfect spelling, as you are limited in the number of characters you can use. If you choose “B” instead of “be”, or “2” instead of “To” you will save characters, and potentially cost. There are some great texting translators online which can help with this.

Make it very easy for your customers to unsubscribe from receiving your text messages. Many times having the option to reply with the word ‘stop’ will be the easiest way. This will lower any frustration if a customer no longer wants to receive texts. Remember that just because they don’t want a text does not mean they do not want to be a customer.

Do not treat mobile marketing as a strategy or objective. You are going to have to consider mobile marketing to be a medium for communication, relationship building and marketing. It should be a support system for your existing business, marketing plan and social media objectives. Keeping this in mind as you make your moves is going to help you make the most of the method.

Now that you have read these tips, hopefully, you have learned something new about mobile marketing. This is just one article and there is more where this came from. There is quite a bit that goes along with this type of marketing and you need to straighten out any questions you have before attempting to use it for your own company.

Making Your Site User and SEO Friendly

Posted by henrischauffler on August 24, 2017

Let’s face it, internet marketing and online businesses are here to stay. It’s also a fact that a large percentage of people find new websites by entering search terms (keywords) into the search engines of their choice. With this in mind, it’s easy to see why SEO (search engine optimization) is so important. At it’s most basic level, SEO is nothing more than making your site look better to the search engines so they will place your site higher in the rankings when somebody searches for your targeted keywords.

In practice, SEO can be tricky, frustrating and complicated. However, don’t let that stop you. A little SEO is better than no SEO at all. Besides, you are sure to learn a lot in the process of optimizing your sites. Also, you will most likely see a boost in your site’s rankings as well as a boost in visitors and potential buyers to your site.

As mentioned, effective SEO isn’t always the easiest thing to do. For that reason, many people choose to hire somebody else to do it for them. While there is nothing wrong with that, it’s a good idea to have some understanding of SEO techniques. If you choose to do your SEO yourself, you will need to know them anyway. If you outsource it, you will have a better idea if they are doing a good job or not.

Before you do anything else, you need to have a plan in place. What are you going to do to rank higher? How will you structure each page? How will those pages be linked together? What about backlinks? The better your plan, the better your chances of success. Don’t worry about being locked into the plan. If, while you are doing your SEO, you find a way to do things better, then by all means, go ahead and adjust your plan as needed. Once you have your plan, you can move on to your keywords.

Keywords are the main foundation of any SEO campaign. No matter what techniques you use, they will all revolve around your keywords. Do not try to take shortcuts when selecting your keywords. Take the time to do the research, use free or paid keyword tools and see what your competitors are doing.

A lot of people prefer to have one page dedicated to each of their keyword phrases. That doesn’t mean you can’t use other keywords on those pages, but that the focus will be on one keyword. For example, the address, title and other parts of your page will contain that keyword.

There is one final thing worth mentioning: your pages need to be user friendly. While you may be working hard to use SEO to rank higher, none of it matters if people don’t like your site. Don’t overdo using your keywords, make navigation simple, and do your best to provide relevant information as it relates to what people are looking for. The good news is that being user friendly and impressing the search engines can both work in harmony with each other.

Making Your Site SEO friendly

Posted by henrischauffler on August 23, 2017

SEO is one of the most important concepts of the internet business today. A creative and friendly SEO will appeal to your visitors and as a result they will come back again and again. Creating an effective and friendly SEO is by no means an easy task.

It can be both confusing and frustrating. A lot of people outsource their website as a result. They just do not have the time or energy to create their own website. If they knew of ways to make their SEO both user friendly as well as useful, they may have been able to create their own.

When you are being creative in your website there are several factors you need to consider. Your keywords should be the first step. You need to take careful time and consideration when creating your SEO site. Without your keywords your website will fail because there is nothing for the web crawlers to grab on to.

Also you will need to be creative. The more creative you are the higher on the search engine your site will appear. Make each page unique and different while still maintaining the importance to the site itself. Add graphics to make your SEO site more attractive to users but do not over do it. Add an image possibly with your title. Maybe even a few small graphics placed strategically throughout your site.

Also in part of being creative keep your paragraphs short but sweet. Visitors do not want to read a lot of text all they want is their information and leave. Finally in the “be creative” aspect keep your site as short as possible. The longer the site the less chance the visitor will look completely throughro it.

Make your site user friendly. Avoid if at all possible making links inside of links for one, customers hate this. One link is all you should place in your SEO site. Remember the more user friendly your site is the more visitors you will attract. Also keep the maintenance up on your site. Make sure that you do not have any broken links and your content is up to date. Also remove pages as you need to and add more. The more often you change your site around the happier your visitors will be. I know it sounds strange to place this under the user friendly category but it entails the user friendly aspect.

Remember making your SEO creative and user friendly will attract more visitors to your site. Managing your keywords, graphics and paragraph counts are all important factors of the creation section of creating your SEO site. Also your SEO site will need to be user friendly. When your site is user friendly the more visitors you will attract.
